We are a wholly foreign owned engineering and construction company registered in China. We are Design & Build and/or Turnkey Contractor for international multi-national corporations which set up production plants in China. Our headquarters located in Shanghai.
We are seeking qualified and highly motivated personnel to fill the vacancy due to recent expansion.
Asst. M & E Manager
(China - Shanghai, China)
Responsibilities:
* Report to Head of Department and play the lead role in overseeing the overall design activities of the company
* Manage M&E design package produce by Local Design Institute includes conducting evaluation of a cost effective design
* Participate in tender submission, produce value engineering input
* Ensure requirement are met to customer criteria
* Participate in or lead design reviews
* Mentoring other M&E engineer and manage Local Design Institute
* Design Optimization
* Lead M&E coordination drawings
* Liaise with Clients and Project Managers
* Support project team in M&E matters
* Manage local sub-contractor/ vendor
* Manage Testing & Commissioning of all M & E Equipment
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/Industrial/ Process Engineering
* Minimum 3 years of M&E Design experience
* Minimum 5 years team lead / management experience
* Superior Proficiency using CAD tools such as AutoCAD
* Demonstrated project management skills
* Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and managing design institute
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work well with a wide variety of people with varying technical skill sets and business knowledge
* Strong skill in delivery quality results in a demanding environment
* Experience in production plant set up
* Able to work independently
* Honest and hard working
* Fluent in both spoken & written for English and Chinese
* Base in Shanghai, China
