Location: National Capital Reg, Philippines

Responsibilities:
* Receive and resolve customer requests for information or assistance, primarily via telephone, but also via other media, such as fax and mail. Customer calls cover a wide range of multi-skill topics including taking orders, credit and account queries, complaints, product technical queries, general customer queries and requests about product and services;
* Identify customer needs and be able to meet them;
* Recognize opportunities by using available information to enhance the value of Shell’s relationship with the customer;
* Actively use available systems (e.g. GBS, SUN) optimally and keep customer contacts up to date and/or actively ensure accuracy where others perform these tasks;
* Provide backup within the Customer Service Center when required.
Requirements:
* Must have sense of urgency and sense of reality to understand the cost/benefits of ideal changes to services/service deliverables;
* Above-average to high level of analytical thinking skills and be able to have a broad understanding of existing structures within Shell & their interdependencies;
* Prepared & capable of handling conflict with internal and external customers;
* Energetic, with a will to get to the bottom of things, and get behind the numbers. Must be comfortable with details;
* Experience in Customer Service operations for at least two years;
* Able to determine the root cause as well as the symptoms of an issue;
* Problem Management (capacity to quickly identify problems and to coordinate action to sort them);
* Deliver results, sense of achievement (balance between satisfying customer demand and cost to deliver).
