System & Network Engineer
(Singapore - Tanjong Pagar)
Responsibilities:
-Perform administration for Linux based systems and environments.
-Lead in infrastructure planning and development.
-Monitor and review security of servers and networks.
-Maintain and provide assistance to users on PC/hardware/software/LAN & network.
-Recommend IT hardware & software to support business requirements and liaise with vendors on purchase.
-Perform daily checks to ensure system availability and automation of routine tasks.
-Maintain and set up proper IT policies, procedures and documentation.
Requirements:
(Essential)
-Proficiency and hands on experience with Linux is a must.
-Experience in configuration of switches, routers and firewalls.
-Strong knowledge in network concepts.
-Experience in security & performance optimization.
-Ability to keep abreast of emerging technologies and assimilate the information for the company’s environment.
-Ability to work within a team environment.
-Good time management skill and able to work with multiple projects.
-Willingness to work off-office hours.
Requirements (Preferred)
-Experience in optimization of database.
-Experience with JBOSS, Tomcat and MySQL.
