Internal Auditor

We are a multinational Group with a well-diversified business base.
Our major business activities include shipping, manufacturing, trading, logistics and offshore services. To support our expansion effort, we seek suitably qualified and highly motivated individuals to fill the following position:
INTERNAL AUDITOR

THE JOB
The incumbent will participate actively as a member of the Internal Audit team responsible for conducting audits for the Group and will report to the Group’s Head of Internal Auditing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Review assigned organizational and functional activities in the Group.
-Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls over these activities.
-Prepare audit programs and procedures.
-Perform internal audit procedures in accordance with approved audit programs.
-Report audit findings and recommend corrective actions where required.

THE CANDIDATE
-Possess a University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications.
-Knowledge of fundamentals in accounting, economics, commercial law, taxation, finance, quantitative methods and computerized information systems.
-Minimum 2 years experience in internal audit work
-Past working experience with an established public accounting firm would be an added advantage.
-Proficient in applying internal auditing standards, procedures and techniques.
-Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to work independently.
-Willing to travel at short notice.
