Senior Property Accountant (Middle East)

The Client
Our client is a leading property development company in Abu Dhabi.
The Position
-Preparing Property Service Charge budgets, together with annual Reconciliations in accordance with RICS regulations.
-Periodic variance analysis, both within Business Line & Service Charge budgets.
-Monthly reports to the Director of Estates, together with their findings/recommendations.
-Liaising/assisting senior management staff with their budgets & any other financial issues.
-A strong understanding of the potential impact of actions upon the Company’s revenue and expense budgets.
-Being able to work successfully as part of team, whilst taking responsibility for own your actions.
-Attention to detail and thorough admin skills
-Comply with company policies.
The Candidate
-We are seeking degree qualified CAs or CPAs.
-Willingness to be based in Abu Dhabi.
-Strong organization skills.
-High level of analytical and financial capability within a property background.
-A high level of computer literacy is required for this role. Specifically a thorough working knowledge of Excel. Powerpoint & Horizon would also be an advantage. (but not essential).
Assistant Manager, Consolidation (Finance)
Job Responsibilities :
-Preparation of monthly reports to management and quarterly reporting to the Board.
-Preparation of consolidation of group accounts.
-Responsible for year-end audit.
-Closing of Group Accounts.
-Liaison with subsidiaries, external parties, tax agents and auditors.
-Involved in system implementation.
-Undertake any other ad hoc projects/duties.
Job Requirements :
-Degree in Accountancy or Business or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
-At least 3 – 5 years’ post qualification experience in audit and commerce/industry.

ENGINEER - COMPUTER CONTROL SYSTEMS
Responsibilities:
-Monitoring, analyzing and documenting CCS Operation and Maintenance;
-Monitoring, analyzing and documenting network operations and maintenance;
-Keeping the team updated with the latest technologies and best practice;
-Coordinating and recommending solutions for computer and network operation improvement;
-To recommend CCS asset purchase and deployment strategy based from Satellite Engineering and Operation and Network Engineers input;
-Involve in the maintenance and operation of the Business Contingency Planning, Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Audit;
-Involve in the maintenance and operation of the CCS Assurance which involves CCS policy and CCS Security;
-Manage all the fault report escalated by controllers, engineers and technicians;
Requirements:
-Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

ENGINEER - NETWORK MANAGEMENT
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing Technical Support to the customers, monitoring transponders’ traffic conditions, monitoring Video service delivery, managing all Occasional Usage Services (OUS) and building customer and carrier databases;
-Customer Support - supports Antenna verification test, Link activations, Link upgrades/modification;
-Transponder monitoring - actively fine tuning the ever-changing carrier parameters on the CSM system, reacting to verified alarms, coordinating for adjustments;
-Fiber link monitoring - actively fine tuning the node reference for easy trouble shooting, reacting to verified alarms, co-ordinate with other parties to restore the service, escalate and update the status to the management;
-Occasional Service Usage management - manages bookings, monitors activations, records utilizations, and reports the usages for billings;
-Video Services Monitoring - monitors the channels availability, responds to the outages, co-ordinates the restoration efforts, notifies all relevant parties (customers, affiliates, management, vendors), and updates the status to all relevant parties;
-VAS equipment monitoring - monitor overall availability, react to alarms and coordinate restoration;
-Provide first level support for Co-location service - performs visual checks on customers’ equipment upon request, monitors customers’ carriers and manually increase transmission power for rain fade compensation (also for MCPC carrier);
-Documentations - generates/enhances the processes and procedures for various services offered to the customers including the Trouble shooting procedures Handbook, OUS process flow, Video Turnaround support flow, MCPC support flow and etc;
-Reporting - manages and dispatches the daily Video Transmission reports to all video customers (BBC, AFC, Jiayu and GoalTV), generates and dispatches the monthly reports to all customers detailing the service availability for each service subscribed and provides customers with explanations if availability falls below the SLA. Generates and distributes daily operation status report to relevant internal parties.
Requirements:
-Degree in Electronic Engineering, Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply;
-Knowledge in NMS, Video equipment, CISCO routers and switches would be an advantage; and
-Proficiency in all Microsoft applications.
ENGINEER - CUSTOMER ENGINEERING
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial Engineering and working with the Sales & Marketing, to provide pre-sales and post-sales engineering supports to customers in various countries. Assists in Transponder Management and engineering of customers’ requirements:-
-Providing pre-sales and post-sales engineering support to Sales & Marketing, including the preparation of Technical Proposals, Satellite User Handbooks, MEASAT Satellite Technical User Guides, trainings to customers, etc;
-Assists in Transponder Management of the satellites, which involves frequency planning & optimization of transponder’s bandwidth and power. Assist in providing Sun Outage prediction reports to customers;
-Assists in specifications and engineering of customers’ satellite networks, which involves performing link budget analysis;
-Provide guidance and supervision of engineer;
-Assists in gathering of customers’ requirements and provide customization of VAS solutions in order to meet customers’ requirements;
-Coordinate with customers, Marketing, Engineering and Operations departments for transponders and links activation;
-Assists in Product Development, i.e develop Product Plans (Technical) for various VAS service such as DVB/IP Service, Video Turnaround, Uplink facility, Co-location, etc;
-Assists in creation of Operational Processes between various departments in the company and customers to ensure smooth work flow.
Requirements:
-At least 2 years relevant experience in the Satellite Industry with some exposure to Telecom, IP and Broadcasting Industries;
-Degree Holder in Engineering discipline;
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and good command of English. Proficiency in other Asian languages is a definite advantage;
SATELITE CONTROLLER
Responsibilities:
-Identifying and responding in a timely manner to satellite and earth station anomaly, contingency situations to ensure a safe and stable configuration through authorized restoration procedures;
-Monitoring satellite and earth station status, health, safety and performance;
-Operating Satellite Control and Ground System equipment to conduct telemetry monitoring and spacecraft reconfiguration as required;
-Implementing all scheduled satellite control activities as per Daily Activity Plan;
-Achieving and maintaining Satellite Control certification status;
-Maintaining an accurate Satellite Control Log in accordance with Operational Instructions; and
-Performing periodical tests, data analysis and other support or duty assigned by the satellite control management.
Requirements:
-Higher Diploma / Diploma in Electronics / Telecommunications / Computing / Physics from an accredited institution of higher education;
-Minimum of 5 years in communications, network operations or space related experience, however fresh Degree holders may also be considered.
-Experience in Unix or Visual Basic would be beneficial;
-Work entails shift duty;
-Good analytical skills and systems oriented;
-Possesses initiative, self motivated and keen learner;
-Able to work independently and in a team; and
-Excellent communication and comprehension skills in English of technical nature.
