Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop server-side code for web-based applications. You are also a well-rounded developerwho knows how to create robust high-volume production applications, and can also build prototypes quickly. Responsibilities
- Design and implement web crawlers to extract data from selected web sites
- Process huge volume of extracted data using open source search engines
- Build extensions on top of open source search engines
- Design and develop large-scale e-commerce applications
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in web crawler technology
- Proficient in search engine technologies, such as Lucene or Solr.
- Experience in building web crawlers.
- Solid working knowledge of UNIX/Linux
- Experience in distributed computing, information retrieval, data mining, and machine learning
- Experience in system performance analysis and optimization
- Master of web technologies HTTP/HTML/XML/AJAX/Javascript/PHP/. NET).
- Master of regular expressions, perl/python, and state-of-the-art UNIX tools/tricks.
