POSITION:
Customer Service Representative – Purchasing/Expediting
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow up Purchase Order (PO) acknowledgement with factories for outstanding POs
- Check PO acknowledgement to make sure correct part number, quantity, prices and schedule are being acknowledged accordingly
- Update acknowledgement schedule into 4shift and factory acknowledgement number into APNet
- File after checking and updating
- Run the expediting report through APNet twice a week
- Compare ‘Need Dock’ vs. ‘Prompt Dock’. In case item is late, ask for improvement or expedite with factories directly
- Update factories schedules or reschedule to 4shift upon receipt from factories’ advise
- Update existing status into APNet
- Have to liaise closely with factories in case of order cancellation/ammendment, dropshipment arrangement, bulk discrepancy, to ensure correct items are dispatched and on time
- Update bulk date into 4shift – POMT PROM DOCK date
- Update existing status into APNet
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree or the equivalent
- At least 1 year work experience related to purchasing, expediting or inventory management
- Customer service work experience (preferred, but not required)
- Good English oral and written communication skills
- Availability to work on a 3:00PM-12:00MN shift
