We have positions Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer – Cognos (2-6 yrs.) for one of the TOP Indian IT MNCs in Mumbai.

Job Title: Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer – Cognos
Job Location: Mumbai
Qualification: Technical degree with excellent academic record.
Exp: 2- 6 yrs
Technical Skills:
- Understanding the Business requirement and gathering requirements from the client.
- Designing and creating the Data Modeling in Framework Manger
- Creating Reports in Cognos 8 Using Report Studio, Query studio.
- Development of Reports and Performance tuning for reports and Queries.
- Analysis and creating the HLD and LLD
- Maintenance, bug fixing and solving data quality issues
- Load sharing with team members and Knowledge Transition for the newly inducted associates into the team.
- Interacting with the OSC on daily basis to provide daily work Status and clarify any queries regarding the functionality and ensure quality reviews are done as per the Project Quality Plan. Proper estimation of the tasks.
- Designing and developing the Cognos Reports and cubes
- Creating reports List which involved Multiple Prompts, Filters, Calculations and multi-page.
- Publishing the cubes and Packages using Framework Manager
- Developing the Model in the Framework Manager
