Position: Sr Software Engineer-SQL-BI
Qualification: BE/ B. Tech/ ME/ M. Tech/ MCA
Years of Experience: 4 to 6 years
Essential Skills:
- Candidates should have in-depth understanding of Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts.
- Should have at least 1.5+ years of hands on experience in designing/developing Business Intelligence solutions using SQL Server 2005 suite.
- ETL implementation using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- SQL server OLAP database programming using MDX queries
- BI presentation delivery using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and other tools.
- SQL Server database development including stored procedures, triggers, T-SQL
Desired Skills:
- .NET programming experience using C#, ASP.NET
- Should have experience in BI performance tuning. Trouble shoot issues and tune reports.
- SQL Server database setup/configuration/administration.
- Knowledge of using tools like like Dundas Guages and Charts.
Other Competencies: Willingness to interact with support teams to resolve customer queries and trouble shoot their problems, Eye for detail and quality, good team player and a communicator.
