Position: Web Designer
Education: Diploma or university degree in Software Development, Computer Science or related area.
Years of experience: 2-5 yrs
Technologies: DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP/JSPXML/XSL
Job Scope:
1. Source control systems and bug management systems.
2. Full-SDLC cycle, with large-scale live roll-out participation as a web developer.
3. Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams across geographies and time zones is essential.
4. Knowledge of QA automation processes and tools preferred.
Background:
1. Experience working with software developers in the business tier, and demonstrated ability to appreciate issues of coding in a multi-tier environment.
2. Experience working with UI designers and demonstrated ability to appreciate issues of usability, ergonomics, and aesthetics.
3. Experience with AJAX, localisation and finance-related domains preferred.
