CRANE OPERATOR
Your responsibilities
- Operate overhead crane during gas turbine, generator and steam turbine outages
- Ensure lifting equipment is regularly inspected, tested, and certified inline with the project requirements
- Ensure lifting plans are in place and approved as required
- Conduct or arrange necessary training on site on lifting requirements for operators ,banksman/slinger , and supervisors
- Undertake regular inspections of lifting operations and maintain inspection records
- Maintain a register of all cranes and lifting equipment
- Ensure checklists are complete as required by all operators
- Attend training courses as deemed necessary by local/project or EH & S Manager’s requirements and be familiar with the project lifting requirements.
Your Profile
- Minimum SPM/Certificate in Crane Operations
- Certified to operate overhead canes up to 300 tones
- At least 5 years hands on working experience in cranes and lifting equipment
- Able to demonstrate experience in working with controlling cranes
- Familiar with project lifting requirements, preferably in the power plants or oil and gas industry
- Excellent communication and networking skills in a multinational work discipline
- Fluent in English
- A highly motivated, a teamwork oriented and proactive person who is organized and has good qualities
- Able to travel within South East Asia region all yea long with our Field Service Team
