Editor Job in Singapore
Responsibilities:
- To oversee the publishing process from manuscript to printed book
- To do market research and edit key titles keeping in mind market and reader needs
- To copyedit and proofread manuscripts and page proofs
- To plan production schedules and manage budgets in an effective way
- To liaise with various stakeholders in the publishing process including the writers; sales personnel; freelance designers, copyeditors and proofreaders
Requirements:
- A good degree with an excellent command of English
- Creative and yet meticulous with an eye for detail
- Have a lot of initiative and is team-spirited
- Be able to work independently, multi-task and perform under pressure
- Candidates with experience will have an advantage
