The Federation of Family Planning Associations, Malaysia (FFPAM), a leading non-governmental organization in Family Planning / Reproductive Health in Malaysia (a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation), has vacancy for the following post:
COMMUNITY EDUCATION OFFICER
(Selangor – Subang Jaya)
Responsibilities:
* Directly responsible to the Head, Programme Services for promoting the effective and quality implementation of Family Life Education (FLE) and Youth/Adolescent Health.
* Assists the Head, Programme Services, in programme development of FLE and Youth/Adolescent Reproductive Health.
* Coordinates the implementation of FLE activities and related activities at the State FPAs, including reporting of projects monitores.
* Responsible for identification and exploration of community resources to develop new projects for FLE programme.
* Conducts periodic assessment of FLE programme to determine whether to continue project(s), initiate new project(s) or to discontinue with recommendations.
* Acts as resource person/speaker/lecturer during training sessions/seminars/workshops initiated and conducted by FFPAM/FPA/IPPF.
* Collaborates and network with other agencies with similar interest in promoting and achieving the organisation’s objectives
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess Degree in Social Science.
* Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in planning and management of community education programmes.
* Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
