Senior Head Cashier
(Selangor Job)
Responsibilities:
- To ensure accurate collections and banking in of cash
- To ensure that credit card billings are reconciled and are properly done
- To be responsible for the completion of the cashiers reconciliation on a daily basis to ensure that deadlines are met
- To deal with all bank queries on time and to ensure minimal losses to IKEA
- To liaise with IT on all system issues to ensure a smooth and efficient Checkout operation at all times
- To minimize queues at Checkout and ensure that all KPIs are met
- To ensure Management reporting is done accurately and on time
Requirements:
- A Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Banking or equivalent qualification
- Those without the qualifications but who have relevant experience will be considered
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar capacity or as a Head Cashier
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- Knowledge in collection/banking-in cash & credit card transactions is an advantage
- Ability to work with others and a team player
- Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous with good attention to details
- Able to converse well in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Friendly, enthusiastic and customer-oriented
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
