QS Asia is a subsidiary of QS Quacquarelli Symonds of London, producer of the Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings (THE-QS WUR).
Our Asia operation is expanding rapidly. We have an immediate vacancy for a
Professional Marketing Writer and Editor
to take over important functions that are core to this growth.
These include:
- preparation of marketing collateral, including that of new projects
- quality control of material produced in the English language
- managing editorship of a prestigious new annual publication
- supervision, development and updating of websites
- visitor promotion of specialist education events held in Asia
- preparation of press material
- attending QS events in Asia to report and interview
Other related tasks will arise.
The person who fills this vacancy should possess the following attributes:
- proven track record in fulfilling the type of functions described above in Asia based service organisations
- strong international experience
- ability to work with QS clients at the most senior level (e.g. university presidents)
- a sound appreciation of the world of higher education
- a good university degree
You are likely to be in mid-career with aspirations of further advancement and of working in a vibrant, fast developing sector. For the right candidate, the job could be done on a three or four day a week basis. Job specific training will be given.
Level of pay will be commensurate with the candidate’s previous earnings and current expectations.
