Chahaya operates general geared cargo vessels in the range of 3200 dwt – 10,000 dwt with key focus on ports in the East Coast of India, Bangladesh, Colombo, Myanmar and the rest of Southeast Asia.
Chahaya has an established presence in the East Coast of India with strong partners in main ports like Kolkatta, Haldia, Vishakapatnam, Chennai, Kakinada and Tuticorin. Our vessels operate from these Indian ports to various ports like Myanmar, Bangladesh , Colombo , Singapore and the rest of Southeast Asia specializing in project cargo operations, timber, steel , vehicles and dry-bulk cargo.

Responsibilities:
- To execute/source for overseas/Local purchase for all engine, deck and electronic spares
- To ensure maintenance of budget allocated and monitor expenses closely
- To plan and implement preventive purchased of key engine parts and spares for on-time overhauling on board
- Monitor cost and project budget and develop cost forecasts
- Vendor development-evaluate vendors based on quality, on time delivery and cost competitiveness
Requirements:
- ISM proficient.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Salary range: S$2,500-S$3000 (Negotiable)
