One of our subsidiaries is seeking a a highly motivated and competent candidate to fill the following position:
ACCOUNTANT
(Location: Papua New Guinea)
Responsibilities
- Perform all functions of a Financial Controller of the Company
- Provide the Board of Directors of the both the Company and its Holding Company , financial and accounting information to meet the statutory requirements in Papua New Guinea and Malaysia
- Deal with the Company’s bankers on matter pertaining to domestic and offshore financial facilities
- Handle the company’s tax management
- Establish the pricing and costing for the company’s products
- Provide economic information pertaining to Papua NW Guinea
- Liaise with the Auditors to manage and streamline the Company’s financial management
- Handle payroll management
- Manage IT function to improve work processes
- Coordinate warehouse and inventory management
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/ACCA and a member of MIA
- Minimum 4 years experience in a factory /production environment or at a holding company level
- Familiar with accounting standards and cost accounting
- A self starter and good team player
BENEFITS

The company undertake to meet the cost of airfares for the employee(including spouse and children under 18 years f age)from Papua New Guinea to home country for annual leave purposes.
2. Accommodation
The company undertake to provide appropriate furnished accommodation for occupation by the employee. In addition, company will meet the cost of rental, electricity ,water and basic household furniture in the residence
