Sr Material Manager (Shenzhen)

Responsibilities:
- Identify, procure, negotiate with material suppliers to achieve the company’s objectives
- Establish strategic relationship with the key component suppliers
- Develop & manage suppliers as strategic partners
- Initiate inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels
- Lead, drive and develop a strong team of sourcing, buying and planning personnel within the Materials Department
- Work with the Production, Quality & Engineering Departments in new product development activities with technology trend & availability information on key components as commodity management
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Managers specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
- Good spoken & written English, Mandarin & business sense
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Pro-active, positive thinking and good attitude.
- Full-Time positions available.
