Finance Operation Manager
(Penang – Bayan Lepas)
Responsibilities:
* You’ve established your people management and leadership ability. Heres where you take it further. Managing employees and resources, you’ll co-ordinate the delivery of accounting processes, information and analysis, while guiding employees to outperform and excel in their jobs.
* Manages Worldwide Cost Accounting (WWCA) Process Engineering team in the delivery of cost accounting and inventory financial processes.
* Provides guidance to Process Engineers (PE’s) in supporting and consulting to management decision-makers.
* Directs the development, implementation and administration of inventory transaction systems and procedures.
* Provides managerial support to PEs in the area of inventory flows, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and other audit requirements.
* Assures that Process Engineering team will implement processes which facilitate effective and efficient operations for WWCA Hub in Penang.
* Provides consulting to business partners as they work to implement Cost Of Goods Sold and Inventory related processes.
* Manages WWCA Process Engineers through design and/or delivery of finance tools, processes and policies.
* Directs resources to implement tactical business plans and projects/programs.
* Develops PE team to improve skillset and provide support across all Worldwide WWCA subject areas.
Requirements:
* Educated to at least university degree level, you are now eager to put your 10+ years’ practical experience, 5+ years’ of which will be relevant experience, and strong management ability, to work in a dynamic and progressive environment. Here’s where your people skills, technical knowledge and influential leadership ability will really make an impact.
* Strong understanding of inventory and cost of sales transactions and flows. Ability to communicate at all levels of management, and cross functionally with business partners.
* Working knowledge of leading ERP systems.
* CPA or MBA is a plus.
