Developer Relation Manager, Game Marketing
This is an exciting opportunity to formulate and lead content engagement initiatives for the worldwide leader in programmable graphics processor technologies. The candidate is expected to be high energy, high character and have the ability to influence and inspire. They key objectives are:
* Align NVIDIA with the top games and game developers
* Facilitate the adoption and incorporation of advanced graphics technologies (including NVIDIA-specific features) into games
* Garner endorsements from content partners by having them publicly state that NVIDIA GPU’s are the platform of choice for the best experience when playing their games
The candidate will ideally have game production and business development backgrounds, separating them from the traditional PC-industry ISV support staff.
In order to do this the candidate must have a high-energy work style and an eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities. It is essential for the candidate to be available and flexible to work with people located in different countries and time zones.
Responsibilities :
* Nurture and maintain strategic relationships with game developers, publishers and online game service operators
* Identify upcoming tier-1 software developers and game titles and develop business relationships to promote NVIDIA platform technologies.
* Evangelize the adoption by game developers of NVIDIA-specific hardware features and optimizations
* Develop and execute creative co-marketing and sales initiatives, and engineer 3rd party partner programs.
* Provide detailed weekly status reports and individual trip reports.
* Position NVIDIA as the focal point of PC publishers the same way Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are in their respective video game console platforms
* Plan and execute NVIDIA’s participation in developer conferences and trade showsMinimum Requirements :
* Native-level fluency in Korean
* Fluency in English
* Familiarity with the PC software entertainment industry, especially video game development and publishing
* Has negotiated and closed significant business deals within the entertainment software space
* Experience in managing projects and software development schedules
* Excellent working relationships with key game industry executives
* Familiarity with 3D graphics; knowledge of DirectX and OpenGL a plus
