MNC client is hiring for: Accountant (Regional)
Responsibilities:
-Monthly closing and review of accounts for several shipowning entities.
-Assist in preparation of monthly management reports and variance analysis.
-Supervise Accounts Assistants’ daily operations on accounting issues.
-Liaise with internal and external parties to resolve accounting related issues.
-Processing of monthly float and related payment vouchers.
-Liaise with auditors for interim and final audit and preparation of financial statements.
-Prepare annual tax computations.
-Assist in preparation of annual budget.
-Assist in the review and update of financial manuals.
-Undertake system and other adhoc projects relating to accounts/finance.
Job Requirements:
-Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications (eg. CPA or ACCA or a member registered with ICPAS).
-At least 4 to 5 years working experience.
-Experience in producing management reports, variance analysis, monthly forecasting and annual budget.
-Mature, Meticulous, possess a pro-active attitude towards work and able to work independently.
-Good supervisory skills.
-Has a good working knowledge of FRS and reporting requirements.
-Proficient in MS Word and advanced Excel skills.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
