Resident Engineer
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
- Familiar with BCA’s and most authorities acts and regulations pertaining to structural works
- Able to work effectively with the main contractor in liaison with structural consultant where fast and efficient resolutions to site structural issues are required
- Able to work with and manage a few RTOs (Resident Technical Officers) under your charge and ensure fair and reasonable overtime works are distributed among the RTOs
- Able to identify and make use of past experiences to contribute to the success of the project in terms of overall progress, site works efficiency and safety
- Able to provide detailed updated interim reports on the site structural progress of works and identify various issues arising including the resolutions adopted, if any, to resolve the current issues
Requirements:
- Academic and Skills Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Letter of Acceptance from BCA (or PWD)
- Accreditation to suitable accredited institutions (IES, etc.)
- Relevant Job Knowledge and Experience
- 5 years in supervising building construction including bored pile foundation and post-tensioning work
- Experience in supervising at least one large construction project of more than S$50 million
