Accounts Supervisor

Accounts Supervisor
(Based in Langkawi)
Requirements:

-A recognized Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
-Minimum 3 years experience, preferably in the hotel/resort industry
-Ability to compile monthly management report on a timely basis, which includes profit & loss accounts, balance sheet, cash flow statement and forecast
-Able to reconcile and check bank accounts and bank balances with Accounts Receivable, debtors control accounts, creditors control accounts and other relevant analysis / working paper on financial statement
-Must be able to assist in preparing and compiling annual budget and forecast planning
-Require high professional integrity whilst doing the above scope of works
-Able to work independently with minimal supervision

-Management reports - periodic reports including consolidation of financial statements
-Taxation - coordination with tax agents, etc
-Board Meetings - preparation of board papers including attendance

-Financial institutions - liaison with institutions

Requirements :
-Associate member of any accounting body recognized by MIA
-At least 5 years of post-qualified experience
-Competency in consolidation of financial statements is required
-Working knowledge of taxation and audit experience are advantageous
-Good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel is essential
-Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.

The incumbent will overseas the accounts, control and administration functions of the company and provide consistent updates to the Management. Monitor and administer company fixed and variable overhead costs. Maintain and consolidate accurate accounting records and handle full set of accounts, budgeting and taxation.

Requirements and personal qualities:
You should possess at least a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional accounting qualification. You should have min 3-5 financial experience with a demonstrated track record in financial accounting, management reporting, financial analysis, legal documentation, risk assessment, financial and business planning and commercial understanding.
